Mr. Jean-Luc Khaou, Director Asia Pacific, Transaction Security Division, Underwriters Laboratories

Jean-Luc Khaou leads the commercial and operational activities of UL Transaction Security Division in Asia Pacific. He began his career in product development and marketing, culminating to a global business management role. Leveraging on 20 years of experience in the payment and mobile industry, he has contributed to the success of many key players in the transaction security ecosystem.

As Regional Director of UL Transaction Security Division in Asia Pacific, Jean-Luc has raised UL’s brand recognition within the security domain. He also plays an integral role in cultivating UL’s corporate values, implementing our mission, and strategizing for accelerated growth. Jean-Luc and his team continues to deliver trusted advisory services for major EMV, contactless and mobile payments projects across key countries in Asia Pacific and Europe. Their knowledge and expertise have been credited in the set-up of several compliance and security laboratories.

Srikanth has over 18 years of rich experience in technology & Solutions consulting covering organizations in Manufacturing, CPG & Logistics industries across APAC. He works with many leading organizations and helps them to transform their Supply Chain Operations with an approach that is cross-functional and based on overall supply chain efficiencies which requires new thinking and best-in-class tools and people.

He is currently responsible for Oracle’s Supply chain applications sales focusing on Innovation management, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing & IoT for ASEAN.

Patrick Tang

Mr. Patrick Tang, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Sigos

Patrick Tang’s current position – Vice President, Asia Pacific – provides overall Sales Leadership and Management in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. He drives all service offerings in alignment with the SIGOS solutions strategy, sales revenue management, account management and customer outcomes.

Patrick worked at SIGOS GmbH (Germany) since February 2009 as the Product Marketing Director where he was responsible for identifying innovative technology trends and new technical requirements amongst Mobile Network Operators with regards to Roaming and International Interconnect businesses.

Patrick has more than 18 years of Telecommunications experience, having worked for Network Operators such as StarHub (Singapore), Telstra (Australia) and Verizon Business (USA).

He was actively involved in GSMA Workgroups’ activities and had positively contributed to industry papers specifically on Roaming, Interconnect, Quality Assurance, Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance.

Ng Hwee Ming

Ms. Ng Hwee Ming, Principal Technologist, Red Hat

Hwee Ming is a Principal Technologist with Red Hat covering the telecommunications domain. She is based in Singapore and supports the APJ region focusing on emerging Red Hat technologies. She has been working with service providers, adopting these technologies for Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and has worked on multiple NFV proof-of-concept across the regions.

Before Red Hat, Hwee Ming worked with Hewlett Packard and she has over 15 year’s experience in the industry working on OSS, next generation Intelligent networks, converged networks, NOC consolidation and regulatory compliance. She has also work with customer in other sectors focusing on IT transformation and data center consolidation based on ITIL processes.

Colin Chew

Mr. Colin Chew, Senior Director, Business Management Director, APAC (excl Japan, Korea and ANZ), Sierra Wireless

Colin Chew is our Senior Director, Business Management, APAC (excl Japan, Korea and ANZ) and has over 15 years of wireless technology experience. Colin is responsible for driving sales growth in Asia. Previously, he was Sierra Wireless Marketing Director, APAC and had responsibilities in all aspects of the company including management, marketing, market analysis, product training and business development.

Shortly after joining Sierra Wireless (previously Wavecom) in 2005, he quickly presented a comprehensive market analysis for the company to enable better visibility and formulate corporate strategy for Asia Pacific. He has generated several significant accounts for Sierra Wireless with his successfully formulated strategies to win key markets. While as Marketing Director, Colin was also responsible for marketing all Sierra Wireless products for Asia Pacific, and organizes technology events to focus on the trends of the market.

Julian Gorman

Mr. Julian Gorman, Strategic Engagement Director APAC, GSMA

Julian is a Strategic Engagement Senior Director at GSMA heading mobile operator relationships in South East Asia. The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 250 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and Internet companies, as well as organisations in adjacent industry sectors. Julian has previously held telecommunications industry management roles with Mobile Networks and as a consultant in Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe in a career spanning over 15 years including a number of years with Indosat. In recent years his focus has been on digital service innovation supporting the growth of sustainable digital ecosystems in SE Asia. Julian holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Law.

Sianne Ryder

Mrs. Sianne Ryder, GSMA, Head of Events, MWC Shanghai, GSMA

Sianne Ryder joined the GSMA in 2005 as part of the sales and business development team working on commercial strategy for launch events, programmes and initiatives such as GSMA’s App Planet, Mobile Gaming, Youth Mobile Festival, the start-up programme 4YFN and most importantly the move of our Asian based event from Macau to Hong Kong and then to Shanghai. She also account managed some of the largest brands including Samsung, Huawei, Qualcomm, Korean Telecom, Facebook, Microsoft and Fujitsu across our GSMA event portfolio.

Prior to the GSMA Sianne worked as Sponsorship Director on retail banking and credit card events for The Lafferty Group/VRL Publishing

Recently Sianne relocated from London to Hong Kong to lead the Mobile World Congress Shanghai event. Reporting to the GM, Events Sianne is responsible for the overall event P&L and strategy.

It makes different industries move forward and brings new levels of productivity and efficiency to enterprises whilst also breaking down traditional barriers between tech-savvy consumers and businesses that provide them.

The GSMA Singapore Open Day will aim to showcase thought leadership from global innovators and new standard-setters in areas such as Digital Identity, Mobile Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Cities and Industry Transformation.
