This year’s theme, ‘Connected Impact’, made MWC Shanghai the place to come together, to innovate, network and transform, with the united power of the digital ecosystem. So business, the planet and society can thrive.
It was the first large-scale hybrid event of its kind, ensuring that people worldwide could enjoy one of the most anticipated events in months, in person or virtually.
220 exhibitors spanned four impressive halls with innovations from both mobile and vertical industries. The world of 5G Innovations
Our new 5G Innovation Zone gave start-ups and entrepreneurs a platform to connect with investors, and become the disruptors of the future.
The zone included 80 exhibitors, displaying immersive 5G experiences that leveraged China Telecom’s 5G, Cloud XR and Digital Twin technologies. It also showcased how the most cutting-edge 5G thinking and technology is already serving society, providing in-person and virtual guests with the opportunity to explore the best examples.
Getting business done safely
As one of the first large in-person business events during COVID, our health and safety measures were thorough, ensuring a controlled and safe environment. So people could still do business and everything else they come to the event for. The success of MWC Shanghai paves the way for other similar events this year, such as MWC Barcelona.
