Jianggan Li, Founder & CEO, Momentum Works
Jianggan Li is the Founder & CEO of Momentum Works. Prior to founding Momentum Works, he co-founded Easy Taxi in Asia, and served as Managing Director of Foodpanda. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Apart from English and his native Mandarin, he is also fluent in French and conversational in Cantonese & Spanish. Momentum Works builds, scales and manages tech ventures across the emerging world, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia. We combine strategic understanding, execution experience, network of partners, and a great team to make things happen. In addition to building ventures and joint-ventures, we also consult on strategy, venture financing & all areas of operations.
Andy Li, Founder & CEO, Silot Pte. Ltd.
Andy is the founder and CEO of Silot, a Singapore/Beijing based Fintech Company that empower financial institutions for next-generation efficiency & capability by connecting data and functionalities silos, with the immersion of AI and BlockChain. Silot pioneers the development of streamlined efficient commercial bank solution that helps financial institutions in Southeast Asia to consolidate Unified QR Payment, AF/AML Compliance, Onboarding and Banking Ops. Andy is also the visionary that sets the direction of the project and motivates the entire team to share the same vision. He also sets the culture of Silot as one which is open, inclusive, and forward-thinking. Prior to setting up Silot, Mr. Li worked in Baidu.com (NASDAQ: BIDU) oversaw the operation of Baidu Global Payment in his role and also based in Bangkok as regional representative at the company. In the past 10 years, he also served in a number of leading blue-chip internet companies such as Sohu Changyou (NASDAQ: CYOU), SEA Group, (NYSE:SE) and Kingsoft (HK.3888) in their global expansion phase. A Chinese national having resided in South East Asian region near 20 years, Mr. Li is a veteran in cross-border business development and expert in management of cross cultural and cross region operation. Mr Li holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Dundee Business School (UK)
Navin Danapal, Director SE Asia, MOX
Navin is focused on the South-East Asia market entry of MOX, beginning with the two key primary markets of Singapore and Malaysia. He builds partnerships and alliances in the region including governments, telecommunications, universities and corporations. He help companies understand the ASEAN landscape and link investors to build better networks. Prior to SOSV, Navin was senior manager of Microsoft ecosystems in the ASEAN region. Prior to that, he was Editor of Singapore Press Holdings tech media, and held a senior role in IDG. Navin has also founded a startup during the 1997 Asian economic crisis, organised a VR hackathon in Beijing with the Chinese government and Coke, and advised a number of Asian aerospace hackathons.
