Description

For the past two decade most consumers have owned multiple devices varying from smartphone, laptop, smart TV, tablet and others. As time as progressed most have found themselves using some of these less than they have in the past. The advancement of technology, accessibility and comfort that smartphones offer, the need to use other devices is diminishing. The last twelve months also saw the release of some of the most desirable smartphones ever conceived but there’s always more ahead. It is almost presumptive that our devices will soon know us better than we know our devices. A smartphone is likely to contain more sensors than anything else inside a home. Yet advanced technology such as face recognition is only used for seemingly simple things, such as unlocking a smartphone. This summit is the opportunity to bring together thought leaders of the most prominent device makers to share the region’s strategies, developments and new technologies that will change the mobile device industry. 10.30 - 10.45 – Presentation Li Huidi, EVP, CMCC 10.45 - 11.10 – Presentation Wong Hengjiang, Vice GM, CMCC 11.10 - 11.25 - Presentation Kevin Ho, President, Handset Product Line, Huawei 11.25 - 11.55 - Fireside chat Dave Grannan, CEO, Light Patrick Pan, Director Xiaomi Moderator: William Chou, Vice Chair, Deloitte China 11.55 - 12.15 - Presentation Pankaj Kedia, Senior Director, Product Marketing, Qualcomm Jerry Xia, QQ Platform Product Director, Tencent 12.15 - 12.30 - Presentation Jean-Francois, Rubon, Strategy Director, Gemalto
