Description

Traditionally, the primary measures of retail performance have all been about sales per square foot. The physical stores have now become a marketing tool to provide an experience as well as points of sale. Retailers have had to adopt different thinking about the metrics they use to measure performance. As a consequence, new classes of retailers are emerging. The traditional brick-and-mortar have been replaced by retailers who started online and the evolution of ‘bricks and clicks’. Retailers are seeking to understand the patterns of consumer spending, and how their consumers search, shop and buy in order to devise new retail models. The customer experience has become more important than ever as each retailer is striving to differentiate them-self in a challenging and crowded market. 10.00 - 10.05 - Session Opening and Welcome Pete Lin, MD, Greater China, WeAreSocial 10.05 - 10.20 - Presentation Grace Chan, SVP, Product Management, China, Mastercard 10.20 - 10.35 - Presentation Stefan Schmidhammer, Head of Retail Innovation, Swarovski 10.35 - 10.50 - Presentation Michio Kobayashi, CEO, Paronym 10.50 - 11.05 - Presentation Moritz Ludwig MD, designaffairs 11.05 - 11.20 - Presentation Pamela Clark-Dickson, Practice Leader, Communications and Social, Consumer and Entertainment Services, Ovum 11.20 - 11.35 - Presentation Retail & Commerce Leader Six 11.35 - 11.45 - Presentation Mabel Lu, Managing Partner, APAC, Cosmose 11.45 - 12.00 - Presentation Pete Lin, MD, Greater China, WeAreSocial
