Session Description
Driving the Future of Intelligent Connected Vehicles Through Programmable Networks
As the automotive industry accelerates toward a software-defined, globally connected future, the next evolution of Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICVs) will depend on deeper collaboration between automotive, telecoms and technology ecosystems. This exclusive closed-door Automotive Roundtable will convene a select group of senior leaders to explore how programmable networks and interoperable connectivity frameworks can help shape the future of connected mobility both within China and across global markets.
The session will focus on the rapid development of China’s Intelligent Connected Vehicle ecosystem and the critical challenges facing OEMs as connected vehicle services scale internationally. Discussions will examine how standardised and interoperable network capabilities including those enabled through GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA APIs can support automotive manufacturers in delivering more seamless, secure and intelligent connected vehicle experiences across borders.
Participants will explore how programmable network functionality can help address key industry pain points, including vehicle connectivity consistency, security and identity, roaming complexity, real-time communications, quality of service, and the growing demand for reliable connected services that underpin advanced driver assistance systems, infotainment, autonomous mobility and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) applications.
Designed as a strategic and highly interactive discussion, the roundtable will encourage open dialogue around the opportunities, challenges and collaboration models required to enable globally scalable connected vehicle ecosystems. The insights generated are expected to help inform future GSMA Fusion initiatives and cross-industry partnerships driving the next generation of connected mobility.
Key Takeaways for ParticipantsAttendees will gain:
- Strategic insights into the future direction of China’s Intelligent Connected Vehicle ecosystem
- A clearer understanding of how programmable networks can address critical automotive connectivity challenges
- Perspectives on how Open Gateway and CAMARA APIs can support global OEM expansion strategies
- Opportunities to engage directly with senior leaders across automotive and telecoms ecosystems
- Greater visibility into emerging connected vehicle use cases and interoperability requirements
- The ability to help shape future collaboration and industry initiatives across mobility and connectivity sectors
Participation in this roundtable will be application-based. Due to the closed-door nature of the discussion and the importance of maintaining a focused senior-level dialogue, final attendance will be curated and confirmed through a selected invitation process.
