The Mobile Economy China 2023
By the end of 2022, nearly 1.3 billion people in China subscribed to a mobile service. China will be the first market with 1 billion 5G connections, reaching the milestone by 2025. By 2030, 5G connections in China will reach 1.6 billion, accounting for nearly a third of the global total. Meanwhile, mobile technologies and services generated 5.5% of China’s GDP in 2022 – a contribution that amounted to $1.1 trillion of economic value added.

Head of Data Acquisition Radhika joined the GSMA in 2013 and successfully built the Indian operations of GSMA Intelligence. From planning, scoping, and executing multiple data-driven research projects to defining the performance measures of the team, she leads the end-to-end delivery of our data products.
