Jing Lei is Director of the Industrial Internet Business Unit and Chief Expert in Digital Intelligence Applications at China Unicom, holding the title of Senior Engineer and receiving the Special Government Allowance from the State Council. He graduated from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications with a major in Information Engineering, and has long been engaged in R&D of 5G industrial control technologies, construction and optimization of industrial external networks, industrial internet platform development, and research on the integration of emerging ICT technologies including AI and big data. He has led the implementation of China Unicom's 5G+ industrial internet strategy, overseeing over 30,000 industrial internet projects covering all major industrial categories as of 2025. Under his leadership, the "Gewu" platform has connected over 12.5 million devices supporting more than 130 industrial protocols, and the "Yuanjing Wanwu" industrial AI agent platform has launched over 50 intelligent applications. He possesses deep practical expertise and forward-looking research in areas including new industrialization, industrial computing networks, and large model empowerment of manufacturing.
