Speaker Bio
A seasoned marketing executive, Bruce Song possesses more than 18 years of expertise in digital, field, and partner marketing, as well as enterprise go-to-market strategies. As the current APAC Marketing Lead for Meta, he oversees the marketing direction for Meta’s Business Messaging solutions including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct.
Bruce's professional background includes leadership roles at several global & regional technology firms. He previously led marketing at Alibaba Cloud, focusing on agile and secure digital transformation for various organizations. His career also includes serving as the head of marketing for LinkedIn ANZ and a 7-year tenure at Google, where he acted as the JAPAC regional demand generation lead for Google Ads and Google Cloud, developing marketing programs for Google Ads, YouTube, Cloud computing and other core services.
Earlier in his career, Bruce worked at media agencies and brand consultancies, where he crafted brand strategies for blue-chip companies entering or expanding beyond the Asia Pacific region.
Grew up from China, Bruce holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Over the past 20 years, he has worked and lived in Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
