HONOR Explores the Future of Mobile AI: From "Building Hardware for Models" to "Reinventing Devices for Users"
Next-generation mobile device operating system Agentic OS to debut in July, while HONOR Magic V6 makes history with double win at GLOMO Awards Asia
At the opening day of the MWC26 Shanghai , the global AI device ecosystem company HONOR introduced Agentic OS, the next-generation mobile device operating system, which will transform mobile devices from "the container for applications" into "the stage for AI agents". HONOR announced that it will release the complete technical framework of Agentic OS in July, with certain interim functions being introduced to users first through MagicOS 11 update later.
In her main stage keynote, Fang Fei, President of Products at HONOR, highlighted that in the AI era, device manufacturers are in a unique position. Mobile devices connect users with cloud models, computing power and the AI service ecosystem, while they themselves are hubs of computing power, sensors, interaction, and action capabilities. Therefore, mobile devices are not just downstream of AI capabilities but the necessary path for AI to enter real life and serve users.

According to HONOR, Agentic OS, the next generation of mobile device operating system, should center around humans and have four core features:
- Intent-Centric Architecture: Transcends application boundaries to directly fulfill user intentions.
- Natural Interaction: Utilizes sensory inputs like voice, gestures, gaze, and movements.
- Proactive Intelligence: Employs agents for proactive planning, service provision, and execution.
- Native Cross-Device Coordination: Orchestrates multi-device and multi-agent collaboration with a unified intelligence.
The Three Core Capabilities of Perception, Planning, and Execution
HONOR is actively developing Agentic OS, integrating AI agents' perception, planning, and execution capabilities into mobile devices. It will restructure product forms, human-device interaction, and system experiences.
At the perception level, HONOR is leading the evolution of perception methods and promoting their pervasive distribution. Platform-level AI capabilities empower "AI Suggestions" to understand user intentions, transitioning from "users seeking services" to "services actively coming to users." HONOR also believes that the portable nature of smart devices is a major future trend. AI perception capabilities can be distributed across various wearable devices such as smartwatches, earphones, and glasses, ultimately freeing users' hands.
At the planning level, HONOR deploys its self-developed end-cloud large model matrix. Building on this foundation, HONOR released the latest YOYO Claw this year—a cross-device AI agent capable of orchestrating and executing complex tasks, available across various devices including PCs, phones, tablets, and smart home appliances.

At the execution level, HONOR is deeply committed to advancing the core capabilities of GUI Agents, enabling efficient automation of complex tasks. From the digital world to the physical world, Robot Phone introduces multimodal perception and embodied AI interaction, and responds with emotional body language, bringing playful, lifelike interaction to the smartphone experience. Self-developed HONOR Robotics has already achieved real-time perception of complex environments, autonomous exploration, and optimal path finding in real-world scenarios.
Leveraging on the full-stack capabilities of perception, planning, and execution, HONOR’s multiple AI device products have achieved experience upgrades. The Ultimate AI Foldable Flagship Magic V6 leap forward in thinness, battery engineering, and flagship performance. Robot Phone extends cinematic standards for visual expression from the world of high-end filmmaking to the next generation of content creators. HONOR Robotics made their crossover debut by co-hosting alongside humans, jointly kicking off this premier tech event at the opening ceremony of MWC26 Shanghai.

HONOR Magic V6 makes history at GLOMO Awards Asia
Alongside these groundbreaking software advancements, HONOR’s hardware excellence was also highly recognized at the event. During MWC 26 Shanghai, the GLOMO Awards Asia were officially announced. HONOR’s latest foldable flagship, HONOR Magic V6, outperformed competitors like the iPhone 17 Pro to win both the device awards: "Best Smartphone" and "Disruptive Device Innovation."
Equipped with a massive 6,660mAh, HONOR Silicon-carbon Battery, the Magic V6 houses the largest battery ever seen in a foldable smartphone. With roughly 25% silicon content and an energy density of 921Wh/L, it delivers exceptional capacity without adding bulk.

Combining an ultra-slim profile with record-breaking battery endurance, flagship-grade durability, and seamless Apple cross-ecosystem connectivity, the HONOR Magic V6 elevates the foldable experience. Equipped with intelligent AI agents and large-screen multitasking capabilities, it goes beyond a reliable smartphone to serve as a formidable real-world productivity tool.
It is the first product in history to win both device awards. Sweeping these two awards underscores the HONOR Magic V6's product strength and HONOR’s capability to keep introducing game-changing innovations to the industry.
HONOR Drives Market Growth and Pioneers the Future AI Device Ecosystem
Driven by such innovations, HONOR’s foldable phone sales are experiencing substantial growth, leading both domestic and overseas markets. In Q1 2026, HONOR’s market share in the foldable smartphones in China doubled. In Malaysia and Singapore, one out of every three foldable phones sold is an HONOR device.
As a key vehicle for this interim achievement, MagicOS 11 not only carries the intelligent capabilities of Agentic OS but also introduces the first liquid glass design for Android, presenting a true glass-like feel from the lock screen to the desktop to the system icons, offering a breathtaking and refined visual experience while ensuring clarity of information.

Additionally, HONOR embraced the lead of GSMA to release the world's first "6G Device Research Report" at the conference, exploring the development direction of the device industry in the AI and 6G era.
Looking ahead, HONOR will continue to build a global leading AI device ecosystem under the guidance of the HONOR ALPHA PLAN. Focusing on high-frequency usage scenarios like content creation, work, health and fitness, travel, family companionship, and social expression, HONOR is effectively reinventing hardware with AI, aiming to lead the transformation of future lifestyles.
