Speaker Bio
Shaun founded CCS Insight in 1993, and he and the team have built the business into one of the world's most widely respected and quoted analyst and data houses. FDM, a data-insights business, acquired CCS Insight in late 2025, and until recently, Shaun was leading the combined companies as Group CEO and has now stepped up to be President. Shaun has been involved in the technology industry since the late 1980s. He was European account director for Motorola when it led the European market, and has held senior roles in the UK, Europe and the US.
With offices in both London and California, FDM CCS Insight continues to go from strength to strength, offering research, data, analysis and advice to many organisations, including 10 of the top 10 technology companies in the Fortune 500.
Shaun has been the Chair of Judges for the GSMA's GLOMO awards programme since 2017, now in their 31st year, he has contributed to it becoming the most widely acclaimed and sought-after awards for digital industries in the world. He has also been instrumental in expanding the programme to include GLOMOs Asia presented each year at MWC Shanghai.
Shaun has also led the KPMG Mobile Start-Up of the Year awards in the UK and can regularly be seen interviewing and moderating discussions with global technology leaders and CEOs across the world. He is often quoted in the media, including Reuters, BBC, Financial Times and many others.
