Session Description

The Future Networks Summit dives into how operators can move beyond 5G rollout to deliver real-world impact, turning investment into performance, efficiency, and new revenue. From advanced capabilities and network APIs to proven APAC use cases, it spotlights what is driving value today. Looking ahead to 2030, the agenda highlights how AI, 6G, and non-terrestrial networks will power intelligent, adaptive connectivity, redefining how networks are designed, operated, and monetized.

14:30-15:15 Completing 5G: From Rollouts to Returns

5G maturity is defined less by coverage and more by performance and monetization. This opening session examines what it means to complete 5G by moving to standalone architecture, enabling network slicing, and applying edge computing to support new enterprise and consumer services.

Industry leaders will discuss how operators can move beyond rollout and translate network investment into operational excellence, vertical market opportunities, and sustainable revenue growth, while laying the foundation for long term competitiveness in the transition toward 6G.

15:15-16:15 Open Gateway: How Will Network APIs Drive the Next Wave of Revenue?

Network APIs allow for the abstraction of powerful 5G features such as identity, security, and communication quality into accessible, consumable services that can be integrated across industries. It is transforming telecom networks into programmable platforms and creating a Network-as-a-services model, enabling the enterprises to access, consume and package network capabilities.

The focus will be on how operators can scale these offerings, work with developers, and build a sustainable ecosystem. From reducing fraud to enhancing user experience with quality-on-demand, we will explore the technical, business, and strategic aspects of monetizing network APIs and the crucial role they play in the broader digital transformation.

With a spotlight on APAC, we will examine how these markets are pushing boundaries of network API innovation. Driven by advanced 5G and dynamic digital ecosystems, the region is seeing some of the most mature implementation and real-world use cases, helping to shape how these capabilities evolve globally.

16:15-17:00 Vision 2030: 6G, AI & NTN

As connectivity evolves into intelligent, adaptive platforms, what will networks look like in 2030? Advances in agentic AI and real-time orchestration are enabling networks to self-optimize and respond dynamically to changing demand. At the same time, the integration of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks is expanding coverage, enhancing reliability, and unlocking new use cases across industries, mobility, and mission-critical environments, reshaping how future networks are designed, operated, and monetized.

Moving beyond vision, the discussion will examine how the broader ecosystem, including standards and interoperability efforts, infrastructure planning, and collaboration across operators and partners, is shaping the development of 6G. It will also highlight how technologies such as ISAC are informing practical strategies for building adaptive, efficient, and intelligent networks today.
