Speaker Bio
Dr. Xiongyan Tang currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Scientist of the China Unicom Research Institute. He is also the Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Broadband Applications in Next-Generation Internet and the Chief Technology Specialist in Next-Generation Internet for the Future Industries Division of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Recognized as a national-level candidate in the "New Century Talents Project" and leader of an outstanding central enterprise innovation team, Dr. Tang has been deeply engaged in the research, development, and technical management of new information and communication technologies and services. His contributions span critical areas such as broadband communications, fiber-optic transmission, the internet, the Internet of Things, and next-generation networks.
