Xutao Zhou is a senior expert in mobile communications standardization, currently serving as the Vice Chair of the 3GPP TSG RAN (Technical Specification Group Radio Access Network). He works at vivo in Beijing, China, where he has been employed since May 2022 as a 3GPP coordinator contributing significantly to the development and standardization of mobile communication technologies.
He has over 20 years of experience in the wireless communication industry. From 2015 to 2019, Xutao Zhou served as the Chair of 3GPP TSG RAN WG4, leading technical discussions on radio performance and specifications related to LTE and NR (New Radio) technologies.
