Speaker Bio
CK is the Group Chief Regulatory Officer, Axiata Group Berhad and part of its Senior Leadership Team. CK has about 27 years of experience in telecommunication, with roles in regulatory strategy and policy development with prior experience in network engineering and project management. CK holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (First Class) from Queen’s University Belfast, UK and an MBA and LLM (IT and Telecoms Law) from the University of Strathclyde, UK. He also completed a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
CK is a member of Board and member of Board Audit Committee of Smart Axiata Co Ltd, one of the leading mobile network operators in Cambodia and is a frequent speaker, panellist and moderator in various regional regulatory forums, covering issues such as spectrum policy, telecom investment policies, digital policies and more.
