Mark Oliver is the Vice-President of Strategic Consulting at Omdia, where he spearheads the company's efforts in strategic consulting projects across four key industry segments: Consumer, Enterprise, Integrated Technology, and Telecoms. Under his leadership, Omdia has been pivotal in guiding its global clients on strategic market operations, product development, go-to-market strategies, and partner strategies, ensuring they seize market opportunities and enhance revenue growth. His recent projects include improving 5G network positioning for a telecoms equipment provider, identifying lucrative markets for a digital services provider's international expansion, and supporting technology vendors analyze customer expectations to refine their marketing strategies.
Mark is also a founding member of the World Broadband Association (WBBA), working with key WBBA stakeholders to define and execute its strategy, as well leading Omdia’s support of the WBBA through its research, digital marketing and custom event solutions.
Additionally, Mark has been a prominent speaker, panellist and host at major industry events such as Mobile World Congress (Barcelona and Shanghai), Network X, and AfricaCom, discussing topics ranging from telco to techco transformation, the evolution of data communication networks, to the impact of AI on the future workforce.
