Session Description

Join us at the Open Gateway Summit at MWC25 Shanghai to explore the future of network APIs and their transformative impact on industries worldwide.

The network API market is projected to generate up to $300 billion in connectivity and edge computing revenue over the next five to seven years, with an additional $30 billion from the APIs themselves. Following the momentum of MWC25 Barcelona—where 72 operator groups and 40 channel partners signed MoUs covering over 78% of global mobile connections—the industry is now entering a phase of mainstream adoption.

With 48 CAMARA APIs published and 51 more in development, operators and partners are already launching commercial services in key areas like identity verification and fraud prevention. The Open Gateway initiative is accelerating this innovation by enabling developers and enterprises to harness next-generation network capabilities.

At the summit, you’ll hear directly from mobile operators, aggregators, developers, and enterprises who are leading the charge. We'll explore:

  • How network APIs are being commercialised today

  • Real-world success stories from across industries

  • Best practices for service deployment and scaling

  • The growing role of AI and GenAI in enhancing API-driven services
