Speaker Bio
Dr. Lin Yu, Ph.D., is a Professor-level Senior Engineer and currently serves as the General Manager of Shanghai Jinqiao Intelligent Connected Vehicle Development Co., Ltd.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Traffic Information Engineering and Control from Tongji University in 2006. Since graduation, he has been committed to the research, development and industrial application of key technologies in intelligent transportation systems. Beginning in 2016, as the principal leader, he organized the planning, construction and operation of China's first intelligent connected vehicle (Shanghai) pilot demonstration zone, establishing R&D and testing platforms for intelligent connected transportation, autonomous vehicles and next-generation information and communication technologies, while building an integrated cross-industry ecosystem.
Since 2022, as General Manager of Shanghai Jinqiao Intelligent Connected Vehicle Development Co., Ltd., he has led the planning and construction of Pudong's intelligent connected vehicle cloud control platform, and organized and promoted the implementation of China's first 5G-A vehicle network application model in Pudong Jinqiao area.
